As part of our activities for Transeuro Academy, we visit universities with students that study German or German literature and hold seminars where we show them possibilities how they can use their German skills to find work after graduation.

On October 25th we visited the Dokkyo University and explained the students about the profession of German patent translator of which we are experts. As expected the German skills of the students were very high and they could answer all questions from our CEO Kato Yuki that also teaches at Transeuro Academy without problems.

About 90% of the students would like to work in a profession where they can use German, but as we expected only a few knew about the profession of patent translator. To become a patent translator you need very good German skills. It is especially important to get a sufficient understanding of German grammar. Even though German grammar is difficult and most people do not find it useful for a patent translator it is extremely useful.

We believe that it is one of our missions to increase the motivation of German learners and tell more of them about the profession of patent translator to give them something they can aim for. Therefore we plan to visit more universities in the future.
