In December last year the English version of the textbook “Intellectual Property Law in Japan” was published. It was written by the staff of the Intellectual Property Center of Osaka University and is used as a textbook to introduce the basics of the Japanese IP law.

The English translation was prepared by several translators of our firm. We are proud that the university trusts the quality of our translations and hope that this book will help everyone who seeks to learn about Japanese IP law. It covers patent, utility model, design, trademark, copyright and unfair competition prevention law.
